The government built 5,847 homes for low income families all over the country
Panama Star The housing projects were implemented in the nine provinces, including indigenous areas.
The provinces that have the most construction of houses ar Panama and Colon, because they have the biggest concentration of population.
Bocas del Toro also received special attention due to the number of people who lost their homes during the floods.
Around $8.2 million were invested in the rehabilitation of apartment buildings in the neighborhoods of Santa Maria, San Joaquin, Santa Cruz and Cabo Verde.
The housing program objective is to diminish the housing deficit that currently exist in the country.
